Most rooms are one area. Larger spaces count for more because they take more time and product. Add them up and multiply by your clean level.

How much does carpet cleaning cost?
Alpha Steam prices by "area." A standard clean is $49 per area and a deep clean is $59 per area, with a $149 minimum. Most rooms count as one area; living rooms count as two, and large open-concept spaces count as three. For example, three bedrooms, a living room, a hallway, and one flight of stairs is seven areas, which is $343 for a standard clean. You get the full estimate before you book.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Our minimum is $149, which covers small jobs and the cost of bringing our truck-mounted equipment to your home.
How much do I pay up front?
Just a flat $100 deposit to lock in your appointment. The rest is invoiced and paid when the work is finished, so there are no surprises.
What is the difference between a standard and a deep clean?
A standard clean handles everyday dirt and traffic lanes. A deep clean adds more pre-treatment and a more thorough extraction for carpet that is heavily soiled, has pets, or has not been cleaned in a long time.
Are taxes included in the estimate?
Estimates are shown before applicable state and local tax. Your final invoice includes tax.
